As VLSI technology has been advanced within the past decade, a number of arithmetic computation have been moved from a software to a hardware implementation for real-time applications. The CORDIC is an alternative algorithm of these present situations, which has been well-known in many fields such as computer arithmetic, real-time signal processing, and digital signal processing. Recently, this CORDIC algorithm is spotlighted on the digital communications

applications, because it can be implemented efficiently for the digital synthesis of the sinusoidal waveform that is quite popular in modern digital communication field. The CORDIC algorithm gives the simple, fast, precise and regular implementation of the trigonometric generators.
