Modern communications startling progress has resulted in very high capacity data

services, such as voice, message, and image, through wire or wireless communications,

i.e. asymmetric-digital-subscriber-line (ADSL), wireless local-area-network (LAN), and

personal portable communication terminals, widely serviced in each home, office, or

anywhere. The communication consumers further request not only high data throughput

rate and quality of services, but also the accuracy of the information-transferring

process. To satisfy the consumers’ demand, a new high-speed and low-power transceiver

which is operated in a wider frequency band, including error-correcting coder and decoder

(CODEC) or channel CODEC, should be studied and developed.
