Title On the Performance of Follower Noise Jammer with Different Jamming Strategies and Tracking Parameters against Frequency Hopping Systems

In this paper, we investigate the performance of follower noise jamming (FNJ) considering different follower jamming strategies and practical tracking parameters. We compare jamming strategies of FNJ for the ideal follower jammers. Although simulation results show the best strategy for FNJ is the complementary channel jamming (CCJ), the most effective one in realistic environments is the all-three channels jamming (ACJ) because it is difficult for the jammer to find the complementary channel of FH/BFSK. We also investigate the performance of FNJ considering three tracking parameters under ACJ and compare the performance of ACJ with the performance of the ideal transmission channel jamming (TCJ). From the results, we observe tracking parameter combinations of ACJ to get better performance than ideal TCJ under certain conditions.
